Rawrrrrrr

Apparently, I suck at this, too...

Anyway, I've started my senior year too, and it is flying! I've got a lot of work and I'm trying to tackle college applications (they're stressful!) and have a social life at the same time. It's difficult, but I'm having fun.

Summer was really fun. I saw a lot of movies, wrote a few stories, read a bunch of books, and hung out with my sister a lot.

We've started singing Christmas songs for our winter concert in choir already, and I'm already anticipating the holidays. By then my college applications will be in and hopefully I'll have picked which of my top choices I want to go to =/

I have to retake my ACT in two weeks, which I'm not thrilled about, but if I can get better scores that would be fantastic *fingers crossed*

Books I've read recently:
Time Traveler's Wife - I saw the movie first, which I'm a bit upset about, but it was a great book nonetheless
Wrecked - Which was a bit depressing but still good
The Crucible - I'm a little on the fence with this one
Mythology - A lottle long, but still good

Umm. I don't think I have anything else to talk about...

Hope you're still doing well

Ignore that last post.

I deleted it.

Oh my goodness.

So, I'm HORRIBLE at this apparently.

So sorry.

I hope things are good with you!

I just started my senior year of college which is CRAZY. I can't believe it's already here. I feel like I just started college. Bah! It's fun though.

I have a ton of work though, which is stinky.

All else is well. No truly life changing things have happened since we last talked, I don't think...

Summer--I went to Canada and Chicago. Both were so amazing. I'm sad summer is over. It was definately one of the best I've ever had. I also turned 21 this summer, which is, of course, exciting.

This weekend is Labor Day weekend, which I'm sure you are aware of, and I'm taking a road trip with my best friend! I'm excited.

I don't have a whole lot to say other than that.

OH! Books I've read recently:
Time Traveler's Wife. [It was really good, I thought.]
Slaughterhouse Five. [I didn't like it all that much.]
Daisy Miller. [I read it for my Realism class, but I really enjoyed it.]
Their Eyes Were Watching God. [AMAZING!]

I think those are the ones that really stuck out. I also read a fair amount of Jodi Picoult books too, just because they are super easy to read.

=]=]!

Sorry it's been FOREVER!

Dear me...*scolds self*

First of all, let me tell you that I'm quite sorry (sorry sorry sorry!) for not writing in about an age and a half *scolds self again*

And second, a very belated Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!!

Oh, it's been so long. I'm still jealous of your meeting Hank and John, though, and hope you had a truly awesome time.

Since our last correspondence I have done quite a lot. I shall give you a list of all the interesting things.

Read:
A Wrinkle In Time -- You were completely right, I loveddd it!
Peter Pan -- J. M. Barrie
Let It Snow -- John Green, Maureen Johnson, Lauren Myracle
A Long Way Gone -- Ishmael Beah
The Gospel According To Larry -- Janet Tashjian
That Was Then, This Is Now -- S. E. Hinton
Paper Towns -- For about the sixth time
A Walk In The Woods -- Bill Bryson

Watched:
Sooo many movies that I can't remember, but recently
Twilight which wasn't all that great
Seven Pounds which was incredibly sad
Marley & Me
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Australia
Elizabeth the Golden Age which I know is old, but I got it for Christmas

And I discovered a tv show called Leverage which I absolutely love

And various accomplishments of sorts:
Passed all my finals
Successfully started a new semester
Went to the aquarium for the first time in my residence here
Visited my sister twice
Got a new hair style
And last, and quite possibly least, achieved a new level (medium, yes!) on Guitar Hero haha

I hope you've been well and had a fantastic Christmas, and also had as much time as me to sit around and read or watch movies or whatever haha.

Hope to hear from you soon

Gadsden, Alabama and amazingness.

So. I went to Gadsden last Friday, the 7th, to see John and Hank. And it was AMAZING. Hank sang, John read from Paper Towns, they did a question Tuesday, they signed my books and my nerdfighter shirt, and I got a picture with them.

Here are some photo's from the adventure:

Coming out to say hello!

I love him:

Fun times!

Cute picture:

Oh, how I love Hank:

Talking about the Zipper times:

I gave Hank a box of Nerds and he gave me a Bubbles keychain:

THE KATHERINE!!

This. Is probably the greatest picture. Ever.

Oh, it just makes me happy happy happy happy.

Anyway, things are good. The play opens next Tuesday, and I am ready ready ready.

School is school, you know. Haha.

Hope things are good. Hope to hear from you soon.

Oh, Paper Towns

How I love thee. I've already read it twice. I love, love, love that book!

Lately I have been so swamped with school, I've barely had time to breathe. And let me just say, I do not enjoy the causal essay. At the moment, it's the bane of my existance. But aside from that, things have been relatively normal.
That's great about the play! I'm excited for you, but are you really shaving your head?? Wow. Guts, my friend, you have guts.
And here's a picture of me and Margo.

And this tree is the prettiest tree on the face of the earth. All its leaves are gone now, but it was beautiful. Here's the proof.
Unfortunately, I lead a boring life, so I have nothing to report at the moment, but next time hopefully I will.
Best wishes!

I assuming you're reading Paper Towns.

Because I sure know that I am. And, thus avoiding the mounds of school work that I should be doing.

Okay, so update, since it's been a while.

Things are good. School is fairly stressful, but you know, that is par usual. I have a lot of work all the time... blah, blah, blah.

Good news is: I am in the next Play here at Berry! It's called Eclipsed, and it takes place in Ireland. It's about these women who are mostly unmarried mothers, and they are forced to work in a laundry at a convent. And they are very mistreated by the nuns. I play a nun, but I don't like that I am having to mistreat them, and I try to help them. Oh, and I'm bald, so I'm shaving my head. I'll post pictures when I do it, so you can see. =].

Speaking of pictures... here is one you may like:

OH IT MAKES ME HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!

Anyway, just saying hi and hoping things are well.

Hope to hear from you soon.
